Research In Motion, the Canadian company behind BlackBerry have a new range and new operating system due out soon and has slashed the price of it's Curve range as a result.

The BlackBerry Curve 9320 was always a decent smartphone but at this new low price point it is now an absolute bargain and one you should seriously consider especially if you want a quality handset at a budget price.

Curvy handset

The well-named Curve range feels great in the hand and in the pocket with a complete lack of the squared edges like the edgy designs seen on the Sony Xperia range.

It is a very comfortable smartphone to carry with you and to use in practice, enhanced by an easy-grip rubberised strip running between the silver band surrounding the front of the handset and the rear cover which is a super touch.

The renowned QWERTY keyboard and optical keypad are present of course, and at 12.8mm it wears a little more padding than many of the latest slimline offerings.

But you do wonder sometimes if manufacturers are sacrificing comfort for the sake of trying to squeeze as much phone as possible into a wafer thin casing unnecessarily.

Messenger with Facebook and Twitter

It isn't a touchscreen phone but as we have always believed, those who purchase a phone with a physical keyboard won't want or even notice that in normal use.

BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) is ever present but it is now built into Twitter and Facebook too and now comes with a dedicated key on the side of the phone. The usual call, menu and back buttons sit either side of the touchpad.

Next to the volume buttons on the right hand side lies a customisable button which is set to operate the 3.2 megapixel camera but can be programmed to use as you wish.

The unlock button sits conveniently on the top of the phone next to the 3.5mm headphone jack.

The famous silver BlackBerry logo flaunts itself on a glossy black rear panel.

3.2 megapixel camera with flash

The aforementioned 3.2 megapixel camera is complimented with an LED flash and is sufficient for most people's phone-camera use and produces sharp, clear pictures without eating up reams of memory space.

Notably the flash is situated at the opposite side of the casing from the camera lens thus reducing possible glare. There are plenty of scene modes included and image stabilisation too, though no autofocus.

Landscape screen

The screen measures in at 2.44 inches - landscape mode of course because of the keyboard - and it's 320x240 pixel density is more than ample for the screen size. We have always liked the clarity of BlackBerry screens and the Curve 9320 is as impressive as any we have seen.

The operating system is BB 7.1 and now has an Android feel to it thanks to the icon style of navigation which is easily undertaken with the optical keypad.

Our summary

As with every BlackBerry it is fluid in operation and if you are looking for the perfect phone for messaging and emailing at a price that will leave a smile on your face you need look no further than the BlackBerry Curve 9320

Its like you read my mind! You appear to grasp so much about this,
like you wrote the e-book in it or something. I believe that you simply could do with some % to pressure the message house a little bit, however instead of that, that is wonderful
blog. An excellent review. I’ll definitely be back.
